COVID-19 ALERT
Friends,
Due to the growing threat of the COVID-19 virus, Arizona Hot Shots Pool League is going to suspend league for the next two weeks. As you all may or may not know the CSI Pool League has shut down their 2020 National 8-Ball event mid-tournament starting tomorrow due to concerns with the spread of this virus. They will not be hosting the 2020 team 8-all championships this year and I applaud them for their diligence in putting their players first. Many Las Vegas casinos are also closing to the public for a couple weeks.
We have had players express concerns about their safety and whether or not some or all of the establishments we play league in will remain open during the next couple weeks as several states are requiring bars and restaurants to close their doors temporarily. Out of an abundance of caution we have elected to suspend play for two weeks until April. We will re-evaluate the situation in two weeks and notify the captains of the date we will resume play. We are all in this together and we will be back on track soon.
